A daily indulgence for the folks in the lands adjoining the Rupnarayon River, in the heart of Bengal, Fresh fish is just a coincidence there – A nondescript, picturesque hamlet, made famous by  one of the best observers of Bengali culture, adored and admired by Noble Laureate Tagore himself – Great Author Sri Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay, who chose to spend his time there and most  of his masterpieces were penned sitting on a porch overlooking the Rupnarayon. This dish on any day beats any other starters… be it from the tandoor or from the oven.. hands down…. Try once for sure !!
